The best field manager......

"Many of you, depending on the time zone, your work schedule, weather, terrain, road conditions & traffic will still be out in the field. Some of you “the faithful” will be worn out from the day’s schedule….long distances…rushed appointments…”measuring wheels” that don’t work well in the snow. …or just fighting to get the last assignment done before nightfall.   You will get home or to the hotel and still have several hours of work planned, if you can be lucky enough to stay focused on report writing.  Only to start again tomorrow and make it all happen again.
Breakfast, lunch and/or dinner today might have been going through the drive thru and eating on the go!  Motel rooms in the far blue yonder … away from the chains may have green shag carpet or gold velour bedspreads or both.  Breakfast might be toast and cold cereal or just cereal.
In growing your own business you handle it all from fee company solicitation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, copy attendant, copy machine and printer fixer, computer wizard, camera technician, vehicle repair technician or analyzer and expert photographer. You become self educated in a complex field.....  And on top of all that the toner goes out on the printer at the worst time or you are simply out of paper.
For some its part time, for others its full time…but at times it feels like it is “all the time.”
You are refreshed and continue on because you can set  your own schedule, be  your own boss, build your own business  and  at times see some great scenery and find the best “hole in the wall” eating establishments… that is ...if you have time for a set down.  Some days you just take a detour, stop in that interesting shop or see an old friend.

YOU ARE APPRECIATED AND YES WITHOUT YOU *** WOULD NOT BE A COMPANY, OR HAVE A PAYROLL, OR CLIENTS TO SERVE.  Those of us whom set at desks, (while you are in the field) are necessary, but we are also the necessary overhead expense in getting the assignments from Point A to Point B.   The Quality Review Department is largely 1099 personnel, like you, whom also work hard and long hours to strive to get it right, or at least as the client wants it.  Our hats are off to them as some in the Q.C. department, on any given day, are working around the clock to process, package, invoice and present your work in the best light....and do their best to get you paid weekly.  WE GUESS WHAT WE REALLY ARE TRYING TO SAY…IS THIS …THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT WORK…WEEK AFTER WEEK.

Thank you Charlie!

A Perfect Job Description from Favorite Area Manager:

We appreciate your efforts in the field to go up and beyond. Often times traveling long distances on winding mountain roads or desert landscapes and through rain, snow, blazing heat.... or stuck in traffic for the next appointment is apart of the job. Getting stood up at times, and feeling like nobody cares or understands the high places in the road is something we all experience. Each of us working through bad addresses, bad phone numbers, bad instructions and at times difficult clients. The trauma of misplaced reports, missing photos, and due date deadlines....all compounded when the internet is down or the CPU is shot at the most inopportune times. YOU DO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE & NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT YOU. We appreciate your professionalism and your endurance to the tasks.

It takes a special type of person to do this work and still enjoy the scenery and not the stress. A special person to "bundle" the work in order to make a living and the discipline to work from home/hotel or car. A person who still has the capacity to learn, yet the confidence to render an opinion of a risk and stand their ground. A special person who can work with Q.C. reviewers...when the answer is in plain sight, and accept their critique and RFC when it is not. A person who can bite their lip when the customer is wrong...and we all know" the customer is always right."

You are appreciated. We wish distance and geography did not separate us and every now and then we could share a meal, have some laughs, share some stories

You Make It Happen. Thank You From All of Us That Move the Assignments Along
